Reporting to Finance Director (FD), Asia overseeing Greater China and South East Asia region.

You will work closely with the different cross functional teams, your portfolio will include investment analysis, budgeting/forecasting as well as operations and costing analysis. This is a business-oriented role where you will participate proactively in reviewing and recommending effective business practices. You will be crucial in providing insightful analysis to drive key business decisions and strategies.

Core responsibilities

  1. Provide support to FD to business partner with Country Manager to drive financial discipline in business decisions and stay focused
  2. Support FD and work with budget owners on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercise
  3. Regular reporting to identify results of initiatives/investment/risks, market trends, and deep insights on actual financials vs forecasts
  4. Devise and roll out a rolling forecast for the region to track execution on timely basis according to budget plan
  5. Collaborate with key leaders on action plan to achieve KPIs and deliverables such as improvement of Cash Conversion Cycle, Inventory management
  6. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  7. Proactive follow up with Group and local accounting team on consistency of treatment within the region, in accordance to Group policy and between BDG & ACT to ensure accuracy and completeness
  8. Support SAP roll out and upgrades in APAC region
  9. Ad-hoc projects/responsibilities as assigned by Finance Director

Job requirements

•Degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA qualification with minimum 3 years of work experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and at least 3 years in the same capacity

•Excellent Microsoft Office especially in Excel; SAP experiences would be advantageous

•Good technical skills in financing modelling and financial analysis

•Self-starter, hands-on, motivated with high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines, targets and objectives

•Independent and able to work with all levels in a high matrix organization

With strong analytical, people management, communication and organisational skills

•Prior experience in SAP implementation/use of budgeting tool/business intelligence will be advantageous
