Breitling stands apart from other watch brands with its focus on casual, sustainable, and inclusive luxury. We are looking for Archive and Collection Manager to join our #Squad. The person in this role will be responsible for Archive Management and Collection Management.
Your Role
Archive management:
- Gather, sort and assess documents in the company archives stored both at HQ (Grenchen and La Chaux de Fonds) and at NSC abroad,
- Finalize the digitalization of the archive material, coordinating a specialized agency,
- Coordinate the selection and set up of a dedicated software for archive and collection management, curating the data entry,
- Conduct research in third-party archives and merge historical information,
- Conduct historical research to back brand communication projects (editorial publications, social media, etc),
- Supported by the Junior Specialist, coordinate the Archive Extract release process.
Collection management:
- Provide assistance to the heritage manager by monitoring the auction market and acquiring vintage timepieces for the Heritage collection,
- Supported by the Junior Specialist, coordinate the selection and shipment of vintage timepieces for corporate events,
- Assess and improve the current classification of the corporate collection.
Job requirements
Job requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in watchmaking industry
- Previous experience working with archive digitalization
