Position Summary: The Desktop Technology Administrator is a key member of the Company’s IT team responsible for the installation, configuration and monitoring of various Breitling systems. The Desktop Technology Administrator’s primary responsibilities include management of the Company’s applications and end-user hardware. They will troubleshoot and fix performance issues while ensuring the overall security and efficiency of the Breitling IT infrastructure in the USA and Canada. Reporting to the department’s IT Manager, the Desktop Technology Administrator will also create, review and maintain service level standards and ensure responses in a customer-centric manner within established SLA timeframes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Providing end-user, desktop support
  • Supporting and maintaining Desktops/Tablets and servers where necessary
  • Supporting and maintaining Users access to Office 365
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices
  • Installing authorized software to laptops, tablets, phones and desktops
  • Troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software issues
  • Maintaining Corporate IT standards for devices and services
  • Work as part of Corporate Central IT team in HQ (to support global and regional IT and Digital Initiatives and Rollouts (dotted line to HQ IT)
  • 1st and 2nd level of support using Breitling IT Service Desk platform.
  • Provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and problems
  • Contribute to polices, processes and procedures
  • Install, maintain and support new applications
  • Supporting Users on both hardware and Software applications
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  • Providing support for printing / peripheral devices

Education and/or Experience:

  • BS or BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft) is a plus.
  • 5+ years’ solid experience with supporting end users, end user -devices and applications
  • Knowledge of systems security implementation and architecture (e.g. antivirus, firewall, intrusion detection systems).
  • Experience with Internet VPN’s remote implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with backup and recovery software and methodologies.

  • Excellent organization skills and high level of concentration, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work thoroughly while multitasking and working under pressure, demonstrating good time management and work prioritization.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.

Software Skills:

  • ITIL Foundation -certification
  • Knowledge on Microsoft O365 Suite; SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
  • LAN and TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
  • Windows desktop and Windows server
  • Mac OS and iPhone
  • Zendesk or other IT ticketing system
  • Knowledge of SalesForce, and SAP a plus

Work Environment:

The employee works at the Company’s headquarters office, generally during the normal operating hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm and may work outside of these hours as needed.
