Digital and IT-SAP Manager

The SAP lead will be a member of our USA Technology Team and will plan and coordinate SAP enhancements and project work for the USA Business Operations. The individual will also lead support efforts toward IT process and administrative improvement opportunities and will provide guidance to departmental and divisional business management on SAP. Typical activity may include; working closely with cross-functional global IT peers and Finance, Sales and Logistics Business Partners in gathering requirements and providing standard, simple, robust SAP Solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures associated with SAP Finance, Controlling, Order-to-Cash modules in SAP S4 HANA
  • Act as an internal single point of contact and design architect for the USA SAP aligned with Breitling global SAP core model solution. Partner with peers in the IT and Business organization to determine business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of the SAP modules.
  • Instruct the Business organization SAP business processes and solution design capabilities of the SAP modules.
  • Act as a brand ambassador of the global SAP template, educate & train the local market users and identify the gaps in the local processes, align with the global team to implement the same
  • Be close to the business to know business processes and be able to collect the local requirements and translate into good practices through the current SAP global solution.
  • Implementation of SAP Finance best practices including connection points with SD, PP, MM and other modules.
  • Test and implement solution improvements to increase stability, usage and functionality to enable end users to meet business objectives.
  • Be a support local to the key users with training and documentation updated.
  • After the implementation, lead and support project initiatives to expand the usage of the SAP solution to improve and expand SAP processes across the enterprise.
  • Be part of the global SAP organization and work with other regions & teams

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, engineering, technology, business administration or related discipline.
  • 10+ years SAP Finance & Controlling experience
  • Must possess specific and in-depth skills, knowledge, and experience with multiple facets of SAP S4/HANA Finance
    • FI module components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banks (including integration), and Treasury
    • CO module components including Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Product Costing (including BOMs and Routings), Profitability Analysis (COPA), Manufacturing Variances and Settlements, and Profit Centres
    • Master Data components including Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Bank Master, BOMs and Routings
    • Accounts receivables Credit and Deduction Management
    • Accounts Payables including VIM/SR/OpenText
  • Extensive experience with FI/CO integration with other process modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Logistic execution (LE)
  • Exposure to international and complex projects ideally in the luxury/watches industry
  • Proven experience with Avalara-SAP integration
  • Proven experience in the retail and eCommerce integration with SAP S4 HANA
  • Should have worked in global organizations
  • SAP Certification desired.
