Marketing Coordinator

Job description

The Marketing Coordinator will recommend and execute marketing programs and campaigns to increase brand awareness, improve brand perception and drive sales across a variety of channels and touch points. The Marketing Coordinator will have a unique degree of collaboration with individuals across the organization (global media, influencer marketing, e-commerce/e-retail, retailers and content creators) to deliver campaigns and also tell the Breitling brand story in a differentiated, powerful way. Responsible for the ordering, inventory management and dissemination of all Breitling merchandise and collateral as used for Boutiques, Wholesale, Events, GWP Programs, Garage Programs and more.


Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Digital Marketing

  • Create content for Breitling USA social media channels on Instagram
  • Oversee social media content calendar (monthly), creating local content strategies in alignment with overall brand social strategy in support of launches, brand events and other key initiatives
  • Partner with Breitling headquarters to define and track key KPI’s to grow follower base, engagement and conversion rates while ensuring social listening
  • Assist in managing content production, creation and posting of all social assets dedicated to local channels. Brief photographers, production crews and agencies to provide relevant content around Breitling products and events.
  • Collaborate with the retail sales team to promote e-commerce on social media channels
  • Identify trends and new social platform offerings in the USA to ensure Breitling remains an innovative brand in the space
  • Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming trends and innovations in social media landscape, particularly in the luxury watch industry, and communicate these to management for implementation into strategy
  • Identify and manage influencers to collaborate with on producing content and around creating buzz for events
  • Collaborate with eCommerce Manager to support eNewsletter efforts, content and deployment in collaboration with supporting agencies
  • Monitor Boutique Instagram accounts and provide constructive feedback on their content with Retail Marketing Coordinator
  • Track digital platforms of brand ambassadors local to the market to ensure contractual obligations are being met

Database Management

  • Manage Breitling CRM database including current contacts for all retailers and stores
  • Responsible for customer database and tracking of customer holiday gifting program
  • Assists in creating mailing lists as needed for communications to the wholesale networks
  • Assist customers with inquiries as it relates to CRM program and requested merchandise or collateral

Merchandise / Collateral

  • Responsible for placing orders of new collateral, merchandise and publications from HQ team
  • Manage current inventory and dissemination of collateral
  • Coordinate distribution of merchandise, collateral and publications to jeweler partners, Boutiques, Regional Account Executives and for events
  • Executing store requests on a daily basis from Magic Sales reports as it relates to merchandise, collateral and publications

Event Support

  • Coordinate collateral and merchandise orders for events
  • Manage guest RSVP’s for event
  • Support Events team as needed with travel, accommodations and logistics



Job requirements


Skills, Knowledge and Personal Attributes Required:

  • Three years of experience in marketing for a brand, retailer or agency is a must, luxury industry experience preferred
  • Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally as well as collaborate with outside agencies and vendors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present information succinctly to top management
  • Benchmark performance across all online channels and advise on KPIs as well as monitor spend and daily performance of all marketing channels.
  • Ability to present solid recommendations and take a stance and position on key digital marketing strategies
  • Strong project management skills ensuring all deadlines are met and objectives are clearly communicated.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Adaptable to a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or technology preferred
  • Proficiency with Photoshop is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Strong passion for enhancing the customer experience in all ways
  • Knowledgeable of CRM programs such as SAP
  • Evident experience of working with luxury brands
  • Works well with others; ability to work across departments including marketing, retail, logistics and shipping effortlessly
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of retail, luxury watch and jewelry industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
  • Evident experience supporting Events on-site in a professional manner
  • An ability to work with different teams, and to demonstrate a flexibility to work across many projects at the same time
  • Extreme organization skills specific to inventory management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications
  • Proficiency in MS Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email skills
