Retail Manager
Job description
Breitling stands apart with its watches unapologetically dedicated to authentic adventures, in the air, at sea or on land. We are currently looking for a Retail Manager to join our #Squad in Germany. In this role you will manage our retail network in Germany, which currently consist of 2 internal boutiques and 4 partner boutiques. You will drive our business strategy to maximize the retail profitability by pushing sales while controlling expenditures. You will build motivated, engaged and high - performing teams. You will professionalize the customer journey and retail operations.
Your main responsibilities:

Retail Network Performance

Define, implement, report and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage and coach boutique managers to ensure that sales targets are achieved
- Support the development and maintenance of a strong client base
- Develop brand awareness in each boutique location through local networking and market activity
- Generate ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Work in partnership with key account manager to support partner boutique growth & development
- Expand relationship with Marketing to improve awareness, drive traffic and maximize sell-out
- Share business priorities and targets in a timely manner with store managers and their teams
- Set-up of professional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) across the network
- Operations
- Secure the compliance of the retail network with all company policies and procedures relating to security, health, and safety
- Manage the day to day retail operation
- Maintain and constantly monitor stocks to achieve monthly sales targets
- Ensure best possible management of store upkeep and maintenance

Training and Coaching
- Enable all sales staff to deliver and exceptional customer service
- Lead strong sales management culture; manage development
- Encourage retail teams to deepen their knowledge on customer interaction trends
Job requirements
Your profile:
- You have at least 3 years of experience in retail area and luxury sector
- You have proven experience in people management
- Familiarity in watch industry is a great plus
- You are fluent in German and English
- You are familiar with CRMs (ideally salesforce)
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
- You have proven experience in development of a retail network
- You are comfortable with regular travels and occasional weekend or evening shifts
- You possess influencing and negotiation skills
- You have an analytical approach and great organizational competencies
- You are an innovative leader with visionary business sense and style
