Watch Technician

Job description

Responsible for the quality fit up of a Breitling timepiece. Main objective is to follow the proper protocol for the repair of mechanical and or quartz timepieces. Mainly dealing with the installation of the dial and hands as well as the quality control testing of timing and water resistance.


  • Perform routine service as well as battery changes
  • Assemble case components, check and ensure waterproofness of the case
  • Set a dial and the hands onto a watch while adhering to tight manufacturing tolerances
  • Test timepiece for accuracy and performance, using specific tools and equipment
  • Test and replace batteries and other electronic components
  • Test and regulate the timing of mechanical timepieces
  • Work closely with local management to ensure quality control standards or repairs
  • Work closely with management on any specific temporary projects

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Good dexterity
  • High flexibility, team oriented, hard worker
  • Good organization skills
  • Very detail oriented
  • Computer knowledge
  • This position requires the ability to sit and focus for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work overtime if needed
