Breitling stands apart from other watch brands with its focus on casual, sustainable and inclusive luxury. We are currently looking for our next Retail Manager - India.
India is the focus of Breitling's strategic development. We want to establish 6 partners boutiques in all major cities by mid-2024, two of them are already operational. As the Retail Manager, you will put client at the centre in all your activities and ensure Breitling boutique visitors have a Breitling experience by implementing the Breitling standards in all boutique network. In line with the market strategy, you will be responsible to ensure the implementation Breitling retail strategy in the country. You are also responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the retail network, ensuring that the short-term sales objectives are reached. You will act as a Brand Ambassador when representing the brand at meetings, events and other work-related functions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define/reinforce objectives per Boutique (KPIs) and sales techniques and ensure their realization
  • Set up the yearly action plan (roadmap) in line with the global strategy and in charge of its implementation
  • Initiate changes to improve the boutique experience for both team members and visitors, aligned with the company’s strategy and retail policy (merchandising, best practices, ensuring trainings of Boutique Managers on new products, advertising campaigns, corporate policies, local and global brand initiatives, CRM initiatives, Customer service, …)
  • Manage sales planning & budgeting and support inventory
  • Communicate with HQ Retail and other departments to present Marketing, PR, Finance, and Training plans to Boutique Managers
  • Lead the team to advance meaningful CRM and propose local smart events through networking and product launches that promote high client attendance and strong sales results
  • Proactively follow industry news, technology and analyze key market competitors
  • Manage Boutique Managers and teams: missions definition, objectives communications, training plan establishment, Breitling retail standards implementation, recruitment of Boutique Managers
  • Conduct monthly coaching and appraisal meetings with boutique team to review performance and provide constructive, timely feedback.
  • Conduct annual review process, identify and create action and development plans for all employees, ensure a consistent and branded onboarding experience for new team members
  • Take over coaching and guiding role in all boutiques network
  • Be in charge of client development: promote brand awareness, capture competitive market share through boutique events, develop clients and prospects database, lead the team on executing consistently 1st class customer service and after sales experiences to increase and retain customer loyalty
  • Work in close partnership with International Retail Design team to optimize the boutique design implementation and supervise new construction projects
  • Support construction and coordination phase of new construction projects and ensure their execution quality

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • You ideally graduated a University Degree and have at least 10+ years of management
  • You have at least 5 years retail experience at a managerial level with a background in a multinational luxury goods business environment and are currently holding a similar role with in-depth knowledge of luxury retail and/or consumer goods
  • You demonstrate a background in retail development management and strategic planning, preferably at a regional level
  • You have an entrepreunarial mindset and a very strong knowledge in retails and sales. You are also client-focused, tenacious and you lead by example
  • You know how to maintain strong relationships with customers and team members
  • You have an excellent market knowledge and a great understanding of strategy planning
